What is the cause of the decrease in the accuracy of the shock-resistant pressure gauge

Vibration-resistant pressure gauges can be seen everywhere in the petroleum, chemical and other industrial sectors, and they are indispensable in production and life. But in use, its measurement accuracy sometimes decreases, so what causes it? here we come to find out. The influence of freezing and vibration: The pressure gauge is installed outside the boiler and is greatly affected by external conditions. If the outside temperature is too low, freezing, or various vibrations from the boiler body and the pressure gauge, it will affect the sensitivity and accuracy of the pressure gauge pointer. Preventive measures: one is to install a heat preservation device; the other is to install a buffer device, such as a three-way cock, which is a shock-proof device.

The influence of overload: The spring elbow, hairspring and other elastic parts in the pressure gauge are always in the limit or close to the limit state. Long-term work will lead to weakening or loss of elasticity, and even permanent deformation. If the pointer of the pressure gauge is often close to or greater than 2/3 of the full scale of the dial, it is not good for the long-term operation of the pressure gauge. The way to prevent it is to select a reasonable range when selecting the pressure gauge first, and the best working pressure is 1/2 of the range. Secondly, we must strictly prevent the boiler from over-pressure operation.
